Adding Drivers to a Laptop with No Wi-Fi or LAN Connection — 3 Methods Method 1: Use a Wi-Fi USB Dongle
Many modern Wi-Fi dongles automatically install their drivers on Windows 8, 10, and 11.
Plug the dongle into the laptop that has no internet access.
Once connected to Wi-Fi, download and install the necessary drivers for your laptop.
Method 2: Connect with a LAN Cable
If Wi-Fi isn’t available, use a LAN (Ethernet) cable to connect the laptop directly to your router or modem.
Once online, you can download and install the required drivers.
Method 3: Use a USB Drive
On another computer with internet access, download the drivers you need from the manufacturer’s website.
Copy the downloaded driver files to a USB stick and transfer them to the laptop without internet access.
Install the drivers manually from the USB drive.
