Method 1 – Open Device Manager via File Explorer
Go to the Desktop and open a File Explorer window.
In the left-hand panel, right-click on This PC.
Select Properties from the menu.
In the Settings window that opens, type Device Manager into the search bar.
Click the Device Manager result to open it.




Method 2 – Open Device Manager via Control Panel
Go to the Desktop and open a File Explorer window.
Near the top-left, click the arrow next to Quick Access.
Select Control Panel from the drop-down menu.
In Control Panel, set View by to Small icons to display all options.
Options are listed alphabetically — click Device Manager to open it.





Final Steps: Updating a Device in Device Manager
Open Device Manager and locate the device that is missing or not working properly.
Right-click on the device and select Update driver.
Choose Search automatically for drivers.
